MISSION STATEMENT

In a world of ever-changing technology, many individuals forget the satisfaction and joy brought by flipping through the pages of a novel. Without a plane, without a car, without a computer, we can travel the world through pages. All Booked is a virtual book club where teens can read and discuss compelling stories in the midst of their daily lives. Our mission is to spread the love of reading and unite teen book-worms all across the world, by creating a safe platform for them to share their opinions. All of us are booked into the world of books and we encourage each one of you to join us.

BOOK OF THE MONTH: APRIL

Shatter Me: Tehereh Mafi

A new month, a new book! This month's BOTM is the young adult dystopian novel written by Tehereh Mafi: Shatter Me. Being the first book of a six-book series, Shatter Me opens up the stories of Juliette Ferras and her self-hatred due to her special ability: taking away living organism' lives. Would her life be changed if she met someone who can survive her touch? Would she be able to find her confidence? Life is not about being determined by others, and a person could be changed by love and self-belief.

Join All Booked in reading and discussing this romance novel through Discord and our Instagram!

ALL BOOKED JUNE MEETING

We will not be having a June meeting this coming month and instead will be discussing our Book of The Month Cinder over Slack communication due to finals and projects as we approach the end of the school year, depending on your time zone. All Booked's team understands that many Booked members have been working towards grades this last month of school and have made the collaborative decision to reschedule our Zoom. The next monthly Zoom meeting will be in the first week of July. We will announce June's Book of The Month through Instagram, Slack, and send out a email to make sure everyone is on board for the topic of next month's discussion. Thank you all Booked members for being so understanding and have a great, unstressful finals week! Good luck you all!
